Comenius Multilateral Partnership project search from Turkey
Dear Colleagues,
We are from Şanlıurfa, Turkey. We want to start a Comenius Multilateral Partnership project. The project is about rules of good manners for
children. Our school is very crowded and children have some problems - like how to
behave to elders, to behave in society, how to behave themselves, etc. We thougt of improving their social skills. To cope with the problem we implemented a system by
awarding them a prize. Whenever they show good behaviours they will be awarded a
prize. Thanks to these prizes they gained the wanted behaviour. At the end of the
project we think of presenting it in a newspaper, picture album, drama, etc.

Comenius_Turkish School_Ready Project Idea
PERCEIVING THE WORLD THROUGH DIFFERENT DIMENSIONS
1. The Aim of the Project:
The main focus is to raise the awareness of the learners on their traditions, cultural aspects, interrelational skills and their reflection to the other cultures by presenting Turkish culture (each partners) with fine arts photographs.
a-) Perceptive Skills:
The aim of the Project is to make students aware of the changing siluettes of the cities and to mention the pros and cons of the outnumbered people who struggle in them. While doing so we try to improve student’s perceptive skills through workshop club which mainly includes pictures, postcards, slides and videos, short films.
At the workshop club we have specific themes such as; perceiving of culture & traditions, urbanization & rural life, feelings & individualism & social life. Geography, History and Literature will help in the name of social science; Language, picture and music will help as fine art. We will also use maquette for the dream city.
b-) Inquiry Based Skills:
We emphasize the awareness of students’ skills by self-conscious, the committee of collaborative competition will be created to have themes be discussed. The students will discover know-how skills, understanding of the tolerance, critical thinking and problem solving methods.
c-) Expressive Skills:
To improve this skill a multicultural exhibition will be done. The photographs will be displayed at the corners, e-bulletins will be prepared during the process of the project, web site will always be updated, and students will write on forum, the short film will be recorded.
d-) Progressive Skills:
The learners are impatient so there exist a non-stable atmosphere, they can improve their skills in process. we call it progressive skills.
All these will help students to improve their craft skills, non-verbal expression skills, improve their social relations, and their communicative skills through fine art.
All we have mentioned above will help students in experiential learning process.
The target group is: 15-19 age (high school students)
Strategies:
In and out of class activities: integration to the lessons such as geography, history, literature will be supplied through integration with fine arts,( photographs). Every student could not be talented about writing or discussing but they can take pictures and improve their expressive skills, these students also could be disabled students, who can even make maquettes.
Experiential learning: To learn the students by experiences they be taken to the places where the changes happened in time. To be a member of a society is another important side to be belongs to a culture and a country.

I am a Math teacher in one of the best high school in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. First, I wish you all a wonderful New Year and a lot of miracles.
In the present I coordinate a Comenius partnership called ECO-ART (see www.eco-art.ro). The students are very happy to be involved in international projects, this is why I am searching for partners for another Comenius project, starting in 2012. Do you know in your country or in a province of your country a high school (students being 14-19) interested in a multilateral partnership about environment, media and communication, called “E.A.R.T.H.”? 1) The main purpose is to learn more about how to protect our planet and to increase the responsibility towards the environment, among participants and those who will come in contact with their achievements.
2) Students will have the opportunity to share experiences and knowledge using various art and advertising forms: photographs, posters, collages, articles, blogs, short films or documentaries. They will discover new talents and develop the ones they already have and they will be more confident in them.
3) Getting in contact with people from other countries will develop their ability to communicate and the team spirit. They will also learn more about the European culture and this will help them become good European citizens, more empathic and tolerant.
4) During the two years of partnership the use of the computer and the internet will be highly encouraged in many activities such as: communication with partners, editing articles, movies and photos, creating a site of the project etc.
5) Finally, we want this partnership to motivate us all, students and teachers, to improve our knowledge in English.

My name is Elżbieta Feret. I am Ph.D. in University of Law and Public Administration in Rzeszów in Poland. Besides of that I am the coordinator of Erasmus Programm in my Uni. Because of that
I would like to help one of the Polish secondary school prepare the Comenius Programm. This secondary school is very important to me because I finished (a long time ago, of course) it and thanks the education I can be who I am. Besides of that this is the school of my 16 years old daughter. Me and my Polish partners, the teachers from this school prepare the Programm for Comenius and we are looking the partners. We would like to sign the agreement with Spanish school because the pupils in this Polish school, besides of English language learn Spanish, too.
Besides of that this is a chool with the tradions. This is The Konarski Secondary School in Rzeszów (1 High School in Rzeszów them. Father Stanislaw Konarski) is one of the oldest secondary schools in Poland. The school is a coeducational public secondary school. Located in the old town in a historic building designed by Tylman van Gameren, it plays an important role in the cultural life of Rzeszow and Subcarpathia Province. A little bit history: The school was founded in 1658 by Sophia Prudencjanna Ligęza and her brother-in-law, Jerzy Sebastian
Lubomirski. From 1658 until 1784 the school was named as Collegium Resoviense and was run by the Piarists order. In the 17th and 18th Centuries the school was Recognized as an important cultural center. In 1785, after the First Partition of Poland Austrian Authorities removed the school from Piarist control and changed the name to Rzeszow's Ober-Gymnasium. During World War I and Polish-Soviet War teachers and
students took part in fighting for the independence of Poland. In 1923 the school was named for Stanislaw Konarski. During World War II, many teachers, students and graduates took part in the resistance movement. In 1949 the school was reorganised into a four-year high school and in 1964 it Became a coeducational high school. Since 2004 it is three-year high school.

I am an English Teacher and a Project Coordinatior in Adana. Our school, Saimbeyli Atatürk Primary School, is located in Adana,
Our students are between the ages of 14-18. We have 350 students and 15 teachers. And all of our students and staff are eager to work on this Project.
Our school is located on the top of a hill in the centre of the city and public transportation doesn't wok near our school. Although we have some problems about transportation we have very successfull students. And our building is in a very good condition. There are data shows in almost all the classes and each teacher has got their own classes equiped with the materials of that lesson.
We have a Project idea to apply for Comenius School Partnership..

"Will you marry me even if I am a foreigner?"
Objectives:
--To make contribution for cultural dialogue among EU countries.
--To know about different traditions of different countries.
--To know about traditional music and dances during the wedding ceremonies in the other countries.
--To know about different cultures via music, dance and folklores ;
*what kind of music and dances do other countries listen to on weddings ceremonies?
*What kind of traditions do the groom and bride have to pass in the other countries?
--To see positive & negative effects of the foreign marriages on their and their children's pyshological development.
--To see how cultural exchange develop people's mental development.
