Dear National Agency representative,

I am writing to you as a representative of VSI Anglu Kalbos Studija, a small company working in the area of education located in Vilnius, Lithuania. Recently we have got very interested in the opportunity to participate in Lifelong Learning Programme and to collaborate with your country. 

We would like to offer our company as a place for program participants to come and improve their qualification. However, we are not quite sure as to the documentation necessary. Could you please provide us with the information regarding all the steps we should make in order to appear in your country's database and to be able to participate in LL Programme as a host country?

We are specialising in children and adult language teaching, the primary language being English (also German and French). We have a strong culture of teaching by communicating, rather than by learning rules and reading, thus we believe that having a chance to share an experience of language and its teaching with foreign teachers would be a big step forward for both sides.

Please let us know what the possibilities are.

Hello,
I am writing from Lithuania. I am representing the social services center of Kaunas district. We want to participate in the project of Leonardo da Vinci and looking for partners. We are thinking about our employees going to other country in other institutions which are common to our speciality.

Social services center purpose- to implement a strategy for social services, which aims to create human life in decent conditions, when a person unable to do so himself because of age, disability, poverty or other reasons. Either to develop alternative social services for disadvantaged groups, women with children who are in a crisis situation and help them integrate into society.

We want to introduce project, which would help for social worker’s training in other country, learn and apply a different law in your country.

We want to ask, may you want to be our partners, if you are interested in our activities.

Partner from Lithuania_Comenius Multilateral Project

Zasliai day nursery and kindergarten „The green little maple“ is a pre-school institution, founded in 1958 in a typical wooden buildings of former estate. It is financed from the budget of Kaisiadorys municipality. There are forty children aged from 1,5 to 7 years old raised in „The green little maple“. The main idea of organizing the environment of the nursery school and kindergarten is to make it in the way that it would resemble children their home. You can see elements of traditional Lithuanian farmstead and pets here. From the yard of „The green little maple“ you can be delighted with the view of Zasliai lake. Premises of the institution are heated with woods with the ten tile stoves. Activities are oriented to ecological, safe and aestetical educational environment, sisters and brothers are raised together in order to carry on the family traditions. Workers of the day nursery and kindergarten are well educated, have a lot of practical experience. The head of the institution has an education of social sciences and art. There work also three preceptresses, music teacher, speech instructor and other workers.


We look for partners in COMENIUS project, multilateral schools partnership program. Short description of project ideas:
Training of children aged from 1,5 to 7 years using such methods that help to create usual, safe, comfortable and aesthetical environment, in order to carry on the positive family traditions.

Comenius project_Lithuania_Students with disabilities

Dear colleagues,

Our school is the secondary school in Mažeikiai, Lithuania. The students are of different ages: from 6 to 19 years old. There are about 700 students and 70 teachers this year. We haven’t taken part in such projects so far. But we are very enthusiastic in trying. We bare looking for partners within the Comenius partnership framework, we’d be pleased to join your project or maybe you will like some ideas from our proposal presented below:

Call for the Comenius project

The main areas of working would be the students with different needs, including either the most gifted students, the students with some different types of disabilities or the students with social problems.
The aim of this project will be reached by student and teacher co-operation involving students with special needs, gifted or disabled ones.
Our ideas to realize the project are as follows:
- every participating school prepares performances about traditional feasts, holidays, including songs, dances, games, dishes, costumes, national traditions;
- the students and teachers of each team present their traditions ( songs, cooking technology, dances, traditional games) to other participants;
- each team produces the teaching material on the methods of creating motivation working with the students of special needs which could be used in these schools (with a common copyright);
- the meetings at local schools should be arranged (providing the participations of students from each country). The meetings should be agreed about the time, countries and number of students and teachers;
- presentations such as cooking methods, traditions should be performed in English
- the product of the project ought to be a small bilingual dictionary recorded on CD
(everyday phrases and the most useful words, some examples of proverbs or idioms should be translated into English and languages of all participating countries; the soundtrack and video should be recorded if possible, for example, each participant records the soundtrack in mother tongue, the performance of traditional dance and song, pictures of traditional dishes, costumes, famous landmarks, etc.).
We are open to any other ideas and suggestions.
