In cooperation with EuroSkillls, the Netherlands Association of VET Colleges and the National Centres of Expertise on Vocational Education, Training and the Labour Market, represented by their association Colo, host a mini-conference on Dutch qualifications, during EuroSkills 2008 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands
Content
In five coherent presentations the building of the Dutch Qualification Structure will be discussed. The qualification 'Hospitality/Bakery Entrepreneur 2007-2008 will be used as best practice.
- A representative of the Dutch Ministry of Education will explain the development of the Dutch Qualification Structure and the interaction between vocational education and the labour market.
- In the second presentation we will discuss how the Dutch qualification structure can be related to the European framework.
- Next we will explain what a Dutch qualification looks like, utilizing the qualification 'Hospitality/Bakery Entrepreneur 2007-2008. We will discuss the necessary competences, task-analysis and the performance indicators.
- The Europass Mobility Document and the Europass Certificate Supplement will be presented using the same qualification.
- Two students who did their internships Hospitality/Bakery Entrepreneur abroad, will share with us their experiences.
Target audience
The mini-conference aims at representatives of European VET Colleges, intermediairy organizations, policymakers of European Ministeries, HRM-managers of business and organizations, etc.

The mini-conference will be held during the EuroSkills event which will take place in Ahoy, Rotterdam on September 18 - 20, 2008.
