•    ceremonial festival dedicated to anniversary of The Republic of Latvia;
•    Christmas  and New Year events
In Valmiera Culture Centre takes place not only city festivals,
but also national range and international culture festivals

Summary of the project
Aims, objectives, general approach    The aim of this project is to gather testimonies of Solstice and Equinox rite celebrations in Europe, creating awareness in European community about our common past, from which Solstice celebrations is a vital and conjunctive component, leading us to united Europe and conception of European identity.

- videos describing Solstice traditions in partner countries,
- workshops in participant countries,
- manual on methodology for using innovations and creativity in context of culture and traditions and adult education.
