I am an English Teacher and a Project Coordinatior in Adana. Our school, Saimbeyli Atatürk Primary School, is located in Adana,
Our students are between the ages of 14-18. We have 350 students and 15 teachers. And all of our students and staff are eager to work on this Project.
Our school is located on the top of a hill in the centre of the city and public transportation doesn't wok near our school. Although we have some problems about transportation we have very successfull students. And our building is in a very good condition. There are data shows in almost all the classes and each teacher has got their own classes equiped with the materials of that lesson.
We have a Project idea to apply for Comenius School Partnership..
The Project:
"Will you marry me even if I am a foreigner?"
Objectives:
--To make contribution for cultural dialogue among EU countries.
--To know about different traditions of different countries.
--To know about traditional music and dances during the wedding ceremonies in the other countries.
--To know about different cultures via music, dance and folklores ;
*what kind of music and dances do other countries listen to on weddings ceremonies?
*What kind of traditions do the groom and bride have to pass in the other countries?
--To see positive & negative effects of the foreign marriages on their and their children's pyshological development.
--To see how cultural exchange develop people's mental development.
