Dear Friends, We are group of teachers from Konya Karma Primary School. This year we would like to a Comenius Project but we are very new in Comenius Projects. Our school is an institution operating under the authority of Ministery of Education. It is located in Konya, Turkey in the middle of Anatolia.
We have been providing primary education for the students from 6 to 15 years. Our students come from various social groups and therefore their motivations for learning are also different. This year we would like to start as a partner and in the following years continue as cordinator.
Our expectations from Comenius Partnerships are as follows: "to enhance the European dimension of education in our school by promoting joint co-operation activities with schools from different European countries" to give pupils and teachers in an opportunity to work together with students and teachers from different countries " to provide active participation of our students in international activities" to help pupils and teachers to acquire and improve skills not only in the topic or subject area on which the project is focussed, but also in terms of teamwork, social relations, planning and undertaking project activities and using information and participating in a partnership with schools from communication Technologies "to gives pupils and teachers the opportunity to practice foreign languages and increase their motivation towards language learning" to exchange experiences and good practices with partner schools in Europe.
