Dear people from beautiful Europe,
I am a Math teacher in one of the best high school in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. First, I wish you all a wonderful New Year and a lot of miracles.
In the present I coordinate a Comenius partnership called ECO-ART (see www.eco-art.ro). The students are very happy to be involved in international projects, this is why I am searching for partners for another Comenius project, starting in 2012. Do you know in your country or in a province of your country a high school (students being 14-19) interested in a multilateral partnership about environment, media and communication, called “E.A.R.T.H.”? The application is almost ready, you can see below a fragment of the summary.

The project aims are:
1) The main purpose is to learn more about how to protect our planet and to increase the responsibility towards the environment, among participants and those who will come in contact with their achievements.
2) Students will have the opportunity to share experiences and knowledge using various art and advertising forms: photographs, posters, collages, articles, blogs, short films or documentaries. They will discover new talents and develop the ones they already have and they will be more confident in them.
3) Getting in contact with people from other countries will develop their ability to communicate and the team spirit. They will also learn more about the European culture and this will help them become good European citizens, more empathic and tolerant.
4) During the two years of partnership the use of the computer and the internet will be highly encouraged in many activities such as: communication with partners, editing articles, movies and photos, creating a site of the project etc.
5) Finally, we want this partnership to motivate us all, students and teachers, to improve our knowledge in English.
