Proponent: Cultural Association “OLIM” (Rome – Italy) gathers professionals in the field of archaeology, restoration, cultural didactic, and uses experts in the field of rehabilitation of people with special needs.
Program: we wish to participate at the program “Grundtvig 2012”.
Title of the project: Usability and accessibility of the museums. To build and experiment a correct exhibition - to spread the best practises.
Focal points of the project:
The project is divided in the following points:
- the study of laws and regulations in the countries of the partners about usability and accessibility of the museums;
- the applications of laws and regulations;
- the study (and the divulgation) of the best practises;
- comparison between the countries of the partners: strengths and weaknesses;
- to build a laboratory to develop ideas and projects about usability and accessibility of the museums;
- to organize a cooperation with associations working with people with special needs;
- to build a pilot exhibition and experiment the degree of usability.
The last phase of the work will be the dissemination of results; it will be built a web site, a publication and a final meeting.
