Teacher's conference in Slovenia_01-03 October 2009
On behalf of the Learning Teacher Network I would like to inform you that the network's 6th International Conference will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia on October 1-3, 2009 under the title 'Creative Learning for a Sustainable World'.
The conference programme includes more than 90 presenters of sessions from 15 countries, and three high profile keynote speakers. The event will truly be a European and international meeting place for learning, sharing knowledge, and networking.
The conference website address is www.ljubljana09.eu, where full conference information is posted.
By this short e-mail I invite you to the Ljubljana Conference. Please announce the conference in the way that you find appropriate. I also ask you to kindly look favourably upon teachers', trainers', school leaders' and policy makers' possible applications for funding to attend this event.
As background, perhaps finally I should add, that the Learning Teacher Network started as a Comenius 3 Network, funded by the Commission for three years and rated high. After the period of funding the network has been successfully sustained and continues to act as a unique European platform for professional debate on learning, on the new role of the teacher and on key educational issues of today - thereby also relating its activities to the framework and objectives of the LLP.
Best wishes, and thank you very much,
Magnus Persson
